North America's Muslim community gathered in Baltimore for the 52nd ICNA-MAS Annual Convention — 25,000+ attendees across Memorial Day weekend, anchored by Prophetic Path: Turning Tides, Shaping the Future.
Baltimore Convention Center · Memorial Day Weekend · May 23–25, 2026
For the 52nd consecutive year, the ICNA-MAS Annual Convention brought North America's Muslim community together in Baltimore — one of the largest, most diverse Islamic gatherings on the continent. More than 25,000 attendees filled the Baltimore Convention Center across three days, marking five decades of faith, organizing, and intergenerational community-building.
But 2026 was not a milestone year by accident. The convention's framing acknowledged what almost every speaker, panel, and side conversation circled back to: this is a moment of turning tides — politically, technologically, socially — and the Muslim community is being asked to respond not reactively, but with rooted vision.
The convention's theme — Prophetic Path: Turning Tides, Shaping the Future — posed a single organizing question: when the world is shifting under our feet, what does the Prophetic model actually look like in 2026? That question shaped the entire weekend in three movements: anchoring in foundational principles; reading the specific challenges of this era; and building forward with what this generation plants now.
Programming spanned dozens of parallel tracks: faith and Seerah; the state of the Ummah; family and raising Muslim children in the West; the Young Muslims Conference; Quran competition and youth debate; technology and the AI moment with hackathons and ethics panels; community service and civic engagement; matrimonial programming and family activities; and the Grand Bazaar connecting Muslim-owned businesses and nonprofits across the floor.
What made 2026 land differently: a community holding grief with moral clarity; a generational handoff in motion through YM and YMj; a clearer technology posture calling Muslims to build in the AI moment; and a theme that structured sessions rather than decorating banners.
ICNACON 2027 returns to Baltimore on Memorial Day Weekend, May 29–31, 2027, inshaAllah. Thank you for making ICNACON 2026 a success.
